What?! You don’t have a collection of sex books written for Christians? Perhaps you have a collection of cookbooks because you know meals are an important part of married life. Sex is important in a marriage–does your bookshelf reflect that it is a priority to you?
I love to check out people’s bookshelves because the titles provide insight into what they enjoy and value (I do resist the temptation to peek into their medicine cabinets). My bookshelves are loaded with marriage and sex books, many turned around backwards because I have children at homeĀ (and sometimes hidden away depending on the content). Wherever you choose to store your sex book collection, please do refer to them on a regular basis. Sit in bed with your husband and take turns reading them aloud to each other. This will increase both your interest in having sex and your understanding of how to make sex great.
Sheila Wray Gregoire has a new book coming out at the beginning of March that looks fabulous! It’s called The Good Girl’s Guide to Great Sex: (And You Thought Bad Girls Have All the Fun). She also has a blog series called “29 Days to Great Sex” going on in February 2012 that is full of excellent tips. You can check it out atĀ http://tolovehonorandvacuum.com/2012/02/29-days-to-great-sex-day-1-the-act-of-marriage/
What sex books for Christians have you found helpful? What did you like most about them?
As soon as I discovered this internet site I went on reddit to share some of the love with them.
